A New Attitude and Plenty of Gratitude!

I know, I’ve been AWOL for quite some time, but cut a chick some slack…I’ve been going through some life adjustments, but I’m back with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude! Hallelujah! Thank ya Jesus! Brief update of some changes since, my last update…..Tacara began 8th grade….oh my so much drama in the 8th grade, and she catches me up everyday….oh…..joy. Sean turned 1 and with that milestone he also became more daring…in his aspiration to be the next Evil Kneviel, my nerves nor my bank account can take this potential medical claim. I’ve even picked a hobby…and unfortunately some pounds along the way. My new hobby sewing! I love it! I want to pursue perfecting this skill! Such a stress reliever and I love the rewards of my efforts! The weight gain, well efforts to bring healthy low fat low cal foods into the home, is immediately and completely devoured by my husband (this guy can eat whatever he wants and never gain an inch!)….and I mean really it’s just cheaper to be fatter….I can feed myself dinner for $3 a day! Small Coke, hold the ice….double cheeseburger plain….and a caramel sundae please! Well, it kept the grocery bill down, but the pounds were off the scale….crikey!!!

So, I’m inviting you to follow me as I begin a new phase in my life. I’m starting an oldie, but goodie, you might even be on some phase of this journey yourself! I’m titling this journey “Big Mama’s Tired: A journey to become spiritually, physically, mentally and financially fit!” Spiritually, the Source of my life needs more from me! Physically, fat is no friend of mine! Mentally…keep this think tank.... well thinking… Financially, debt you gotta go! All while I continue being the awesome Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, and Friend that I am! Will my walk with God soar to new levels? Will I lose the pounds? Will I conquer debt once and for all? Will, I become a skillful sewist? Only Time will tell. I’m up for the challenge! This is my life and I love every crazy uncertain moment of it! Do Heart Life!
